THE CAST
Main Series
The Tenth Doctor
Portrayed by: Scott D. Harris
First CP Studios audio appearance: Las Pinturas Negras
After ending the last great conflict with the Cybermen, the Doctor underwent a ninth regeneration. His companions almost immediately noted that his personality was vastly changed, as he showed less politesse than his predecessor and baffled those around him with his erratic trains of thought. The Doctor was no longer a kindly older brother, but a bombastic anarchist who apparently took pleasure in confronting both friends and foes alike with his great intellect and capacity to manipulate. He especially enjoyed openly insulting his enemies in order to drive them to make mistakes. He also became more cerebral and open-minded to the stranger dominions of the universe, and masked his true nature beneath layers of contradictions. He did maintain some aspects of his previous self, however, including his love of food.

Zacharias Cobb
Portrayed by: Nick Cochran (former), Caith Donovan (current)
Character model: Dylan O'Brien
First CP Studios audio appearance: Calladra
Heir to the massive Cobb Mining Company in the 39th century, Zacharias stowed away aboard the TARDIS while trying to escape the doomed planet Calladra. His actions that day, and his initially negative and cynical outlook created a rift between himself and Whitney, one which would never entirely close in spite of their best intentions. Often the first to voice doubts or show fear in the face of danger, Zacharias was still determined to make himself indispensable to the other time travellers in any way he could, if only to avoid the possibility of being taken back to his family, an idea that he distained. In times of stress, Zacharias's sense of survival would override his fears and drive him to fight back against all manner of intergalactic horrors.

K9
Portrayed by: Matt "Timey" Clarke (former), Christopher Thomson (current)
Character redesign by: Rory McLeish
First CP Studios audio appearance: The Wooden Planet
The Doctor built this K9 after discovering files in the TARDIS databanks containing experimental blueprints. Constructed from different materials to the previous models, K9 was programmed to serve a diverse array of functions, but still possessed the series' characteristic faults such as taking orders too literally, exhibiting pedantic behaviour and regarding other artificial intelligences with contempt. Nonetheless, the Doctor held a great deal of affection for him and depended on him for technical support as well as defence.

Character model: Henry Lloyd-Hughes
First CP Studios audio appearance: The Devils of Gallipoli
Last CP Studios audio appearance: Las Pinturas Negras
The Time Lord's previous incarnation, the Ninth Doctor was known for his polite, diplomatic and gentlemanly conduct in all situations and love for exotic cuisine. He found the idea of traveling alone to be distasteful, and subsequently befriended Whitney during an adventure in twenty-first century Nebraska. He succumbed to his injuries and regenerated.

Whitney Anderson
Portrayed by: April Sadowski
Character model: Carey Mulligan
First CP Studios audio appearance: The Devils of Gallipoli
Last CP Studios audio appearance: Flux Time
Whitney first encountered the Doctor when she was backpacking across the United States, helping him to uncover and thwart a Kraal plot in Nebraska. Ever since, she stayed by his side and went on many adventures with him, facing Sea Devils, Indron and others. Sharp, stubborn and brave as a lion, Whitney considered herself to be the Doctor's closest friend, and her loyalty to him did not waver in the slightest after his regeneration. Whitney was not totally invulnerable, however, as she suffered from a list of specific fears which had a crippling effect on her, such as heights and scenes of carnage. Her ultimate contribution was her uplifting, fun-loving approach to the bizarre situations that are a regular part of life with a Time Lord. She sadly perished after Zacharias's kiss jolted Thoth's brain patterns from her own brain, causing it to experience a fatal electrical overload.
